Welcome to St Luke's Church, Hartlepool!
Covid(19) Update 3rd July:
We have carefully considered how best to safely move to the 'next step' in church re-opening and will be holding a Service of the Word from Sunday 12th July at 9:15am, with access to church from 8:45am. This will continue until the end of July, when we will review and decide whether we can safely open church further. Online worship will also continue with services at 10:45am and 11am and we would encourage those who are able to access this to continue to do so for the time being.
St Luke’s is a friendly church where people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
We are a community whose purpose is to share Christ’s love with all people, through worship, learning, caring relationships and service to others.
Each Sunday at 9.15am we hold a Communion Service suitable for everyone including families; we have hymns, music and a children’s club, followed by refreshments and a chance to chat after the service. On alternate Sunday's (2nd and 4th) we also have a quiet Prayer Book Service at 8am.
Each Wednesday at 9.30am we have a quiet Prayer Book Service of Holy Communion followed by refreshments.
If you would like to contact the Church, for example to arrange a wedding or a baptism, receive our church magazine or receive a visit from a member of the church, please call the Parish Office on 01429 281122, which is manned on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or leave a message and we will return your call.
With our prayers for God’s Blessing on you and your loved ones,
St Luke’s Church Family
